Well it is because this size was designed to hold any standard size machine rolls and cbd cigarettes. The barrel is tapered so when placing your roll inside it should fit nice and snug. The best part is when using it as a holder you will be able to get multiple uses befor it becomes dirty as apposed to using it as a crutch. Dont be discouraged about using it a crutch though because it also works well when put inside your roll. This size will sit flush in any 26 guage mold / press.
